Sovenance is a musical artist who experiences life as one long composition. He loves contradiction, juxaposition, and creativity in limitation. Sov's multi-medium artistry touches everything he does. He draws inspiration from sensory experiences and finds connections everywhere. Music was his first love, and continues to be his essential mode of expression. Sovenance is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and classical jazz saxophonist.
Sovenance Statham does not enjoy writing about himself, but he must be interesting, because everyone describes him by saying something different (and good). He is skilled in music, art, mathematics, and-- ironically-- writing. He is a terrible dancer who will dance in front of a thousand people, or two. His childhood nickname being "Sov the Musical," today Sovenance is a saxophonist, singer, and self-trained multi-instrumentalist. As an autistic adult, he experiences the world at full volume. Through his eyes and ears, life is a never-ending artistic composition of every medium. Even pain has the potential to be pleasure. Sovenance loves contradiction and defying expectations. He loves saying the word love, and reminds everyone else to do so as well. A person reverently in love with life on earth, Sovenance is an artist, performer, scholar, and teacher.
